The Brighton & Hove Adult Learning Group

The Adult Learning Group (ALG), a sub group of the Learning Partnership Strategic Board, represents all the organisations that work collaboratively in Adult Education within the city.  It includes the five adult and community learning providers who receive public funding via the national Skills Funding Agency (part of the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills – BIS) i.e. Brighton and Hove City Council, City College, The Friends Centre, Portslade Adult Learning and Varndean College plus the Workers Educational Association.

It also includes representatives of the city’s three community learning hubs (The Bridge, Hangleton & Knoll Project, Whitehawk Inn) and of other voluntary sector providers.
